I’m Nick, a UX designer focused on accessible, trust-centered systems especially in healthcare, social impact, and privacy-first technology.
My path into design isn’t traditional. I come from retail management, digital marketing, and visual design, where I saw firsthand how systems either support people or quietly work against them. That perspective shapes how I design today: with empathy, clarity, and a strong focus on real-world usability.
I’m especially interested in how structure impacts experience, from information architecture to how products are understood by both users and AI-driven systems.
What I'm drawn to: Healthcare UX · Ethical AI · Accessibility · Community-driven design
How I work: User research · Information architecture · Rapid prototyping · Accessibility audits · UX storytelling
Tools: Figma · Lovable · AI-assisted research and ideation · Usability testing platforms
Outside of design, I’m a light-painting photographer, published in Skyline College’s The Labyrinth. Photography trained my eye for composition, light, and the details that make something feel intentional.
I’ve also spent extended time in São Paulo and am conversational in Brazilian Portuguese. These experiences have shaped how I think about culture, communication, and designing for people with different lived realities.

I’m not interested in design for design’s sake. The question I keep coming back to is simple: does this actually improve someone’s life?
